When an off-the-shelf product isn't quite right, we can often make it fit. Our in-house slitting and die cutting turn standard materials into the exact shapes and widths your application requires.
When an off-the-shelf product isn't quite right, we can often make it fit. Our in-house slitting and die cutting turn standard materials into the exact shapes and widths your application requires.
Need a specific width for your project?
You don't have to settle for a standard-size roll. Keystone Tape & Supply offers precision slit-to-width converting, allowing us to convert master rolls and logs of tape, film, foam, foil, paper, and other materials into the exact widths your application requires.
Our in-house slitting capabilities allow us to produce custom widths as narrow as 1/16-inch, depending on the material and application. Whether you need a simple custom width or a large quantity of precision-slit material, our experienced team can help determine the best converting solution for your needs.
Ordering material in a standard width and cutting it down yourself can result in unnecessary labor, material waste, and added handling. Custom slit-to-width converting allows you to receive your material ready for use, helping reduce waste and streamline your production process.
Many standard slitting orders can be completed within 24 hours, allowing you to get the material you need without unnecessary delays.
Our slitting equipment can process a wide range of materials, including:
Don't see your material listed? That doesn't necessarily mean we can't slit it. Our team can review your material and specifications to determine the best solution.
Ask about your material →Tell us what you're working with, the width you need, and the quantity you're looking for. Our team will help you find the right material and converting solution for your application.
Sometimes a standard roll or sheet just isn't the right solution. When you need a material converted into a specific shape, size, or configuration, Keystone Tape & Supply can help.
We offer both rotary die cutting and clicker press die cutting, allowing us to match the converting process to your material, design, and production requirements. From simple shapes to more complex custom components, our experienced team can help turn a wide variety of non-metallic materials into finished parts ready for your application.
Rotary die cutting uses a precision cylindrical die and anvil roll to produce consistent, repeatable parts with tight tolerances. This process is well suited for high-volume production and applications where speed, precision, and uniformity are important.
Clicker press die cutting uses a shaped steel-rule die and press to cut individual pieces from sheets, rolls, or other forms of material. It is particularly well suited for larger shapes and thicker materials, as well as applications where rotary die cutting may not be the most practical solution.
By offering both methods, we can help determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach for your particular project.
Depending on your material and application, we can provide several different cutting configurations.
Our team can help determine the appropriate cut and configuration based on how the finished product will be used and applied.
Custom die cutting can eliminate the need for your employees to manually cut or prepare materials during production. Receiving your material in ready-to-use, uniform pieces can help reduce labor, minimize waste, and improve consistency from part to part.
Whether you need a small custom component or a high-volume production run, our goal is to provide a finished product that meets your specifications and performs consistently.
We work with a wide variety of non-metallic materials, including adhesive tapes, films, foams, foils, papers, and other specialty materials. If you have a material or application that isn't listed, contact us—we may be able to help.
You don't have to know which die cutting process is right for your project. Give us your specifications, drawing, sample, or simply tell us what you're trying to accomplish. Our experienced team can help determine the appropriate material, cutting method, and configuration for your application.
