Our Story
From a Placentia garage to customers across the country.
What started as a small family business in a Placentia, California garage has grown into a trusted supplier and custom converting partner serving customers throughout the country.
Keystone was founded in 1996 by Chad and Rory McWilliams after Chad had spent years in the tape industry. In those early days, the company focused primarily on distributing pressure-sensitive tapes and films. As our customers' needs evolved, so did Keystone. We invested in precision converting equipment and expanded our capabilities to include slitting, die cutting, and other custom converting services.
Today, Keystone is still family owned and operated. Chad and Rory's sons, Brett and Kerry, along with their daughter-in-law Jessica, are actively involved in overseeing the business and carrying the company into its next generation.

With more than 35 years of experience in the tape industry, including 8 years in manufacturing and 27 years in distribution, Chad has developed an extensive understanding of pressure-sensitive tapes, adhesives, films, and the many applications they serve.
That experience, combined with our relationships with more than 30 domestic and international manufacturers, gives our team the knowledge and resources to help customers find the right material for their application.
When an off-the-shelf product isn't quite right, we can often make it fit.
Our converting capabilities allow us to take standard materials and create custom products to meet specific requirements. Whether you need a simple roll of tape or a more specialized converted product, we work with you to find a practical solution.
